National Beverage Company Organizes Charity Iftars at Orphanages

  
Ramallah– Al Hayat – The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy recently organized a number of charity Iftars (Ramadan breakfast meals) that were served in four charities sponsoring orphans in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.  The project targeted Beit Ummar Charity Association for Orphans in Hebron, the Orphans Association of Jericho, the Eman Society for Orphans’ Care and Housing in Qalqilya and Dar Al Huda Society for Children Care and Social and Health Services in Gaza Strip.
These Iftars were served by NBC to complement the many contributions made by the Company in all types of religious and national events and occasions marked by the Palestinian people including all its segments.
Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company stated that NBC was pleased to share the orphans their Ramadan breakfast and be presence among them to bring as much as possible joy and happiness to their hearts. He pointed out that the NBC’s care for orphaned children came in translation of its sense of responsibility towards this segment of the children.  He added, "The Company is keen to be always the trendsetter at the level of the private sector in the field of social responsibility to which the Company gives its greatest attention by placing all its available capabilities in the service of the various segments of the community.”
On their part, the officials of the associations were the Iftars were served praised the role played by NBC in serving all segments of the community.  They thanked the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy for their efforts in drawing a smile on the lips of orphan children; and they commended the Company’s care as a national business organization for the social aspect and its support for the institutions of different activities.
