The Fourth World Cup Competition, which is organized by Pal Sport Agency in partnership with the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, continues for the ninth day through the website of the Pal Sport Network and Agency, as well as through its page on the social networking page ‘‘Facebook’’. Through this Competition, two prizes are given away on daily basis by the National Beverage Company. Each prize comprises a football, tennis rackets, a drinking cup bearing the Coca-Cola logo, another cup bearing the Sprite logo and a handbag.
The CEO of Pal Sport Agency, Engineer Firas Al qaisy, indicated that more than twelve thousand participants have visited the website and the Facebook page in order to answer the daily question, published on the page on daily basis. Most visitors are from Palestine: the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and interior part of Palestine’. 22% of the answers come from abroad, mostly from Arab countries.
On his part, the Technical Department Coordinator in the National Beverage Company, Alaa Esawi, pointed out that the NBC is currently working on handing over prizes of this Competition to a number of winners from the besieged Gaza Strip in cooperation with the volunteers of Pal Sport Network in Gaza.
This aims at maintaining the communication between the Company and its customers and the Palestinian people wherever they are, whether in Gaza Strip or in the West Bank.
The General Manager of NBC, Mr. Imad al-Hindi, announced that the Company communicates and interacts with the World Cup through huge display screens that are touring the governorates of the country, and through a campaign launched by the Company entitled ‘‘Encourage and Win with Coca-Cola’’.
The campaign includes the travel of 10 Palestinians to attend the World Cup in the major playgrounds of the World Cup in Brazil at the expense of Coca-Cola International, the most prominent sponsor of the World Cup, with a message from Palestine to Brazil.
NBC is also active in the Competition through its cooperation and partnership with the Sport Network and Agency in selecting the daily question and by presenting two prizes to two winners every day, as well as through the publishing of the World Cup schedule as per the local time of Palestine in cooperation with Pal Sport Network.
